PRP Rescue Services was founded in 1986 by Managing Director Jon Phillips as a direct response to a problem
encountered by one of his colleagues.
A chance breakdown on the way home from a horse show left him stranded with both family and horses. Despite being a
member of one of the major rescue organisations, he was unable to get horsebox breakdown assistance for his vehicle and ended up paying a small fortune to get his horses and family home.
Jon felt that something needed to be done to rectify the problem and set about finding a solution. PRP Rescue Services was his answer.
